Hollywood just doesn't know how to make friends. First it was Borat, whose satirical portrayal of a Kazahkstani reporter sparked an international relations spat. Now the movie industry has made a potentially more dangerous enemy – the Iranian Government. As political tensions simmer between the US and Iran over the country's nuclear program, cultural undercurrents are starting to boil over as well. A furore has been started by the film 300, based on the graphic novel by Frank Miller, of Sin City fame.
